If you’re a churro lover, Twist & Buckle is a name to remember! Hailing from Hong Kong, this beloved brand has been recognized in Hong Kong’s Michelin Guide for two consecutive years (2023-2024) as the city’s “favorite street food.” Now, Singaporeans can enjoy its freshly made churros at its first international outlet, located at Velocity @ Novena Square.

Twist & Buckle offers two types of churros: the Original Mini (SG$2.50) and the Glazed Regular (SG$6.90). The Original Mini comes dusted with cinnamon sugar, with an option to add a dipping sauce—choose from chocolate, hazelnut, or dulce de leche for just $1. But for those craving something extra, the Glazed Regular churros come in 10 exciting flavors, including Pistachio Crunch, Cookies & Cream, and Crunchy Matcha.

A fan-favorite is the Pistachio Crunch, which combines creamy pistachio paste with chopped pistachio bits. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these churros are best eaten hot! Another must-try is the Crunchy Matcha, where Fruity Pebbles cereal adds a sweet crunch to balance the earthy matcha tones.

If you’re feeling adventurous, try The Campfire, which pairs dark chocolate sauce with toasted marshmallows, or Wonderland, a delightful mix of strawberry chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles. Hazel Lah, featuring hazelnut sauce and chopped hazelnuts, is another crowd-pleaser.
