Tokyo JOYPOLIS Opens Amusement Park At Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong

Exciting news! Tokyo JOYPOLIS, Japan’s largest indoor amusement park, has opened its first flagship location at the Kai Tak Sports Park mall area!

The new JOYPOLIS SPORTS flagship in Hong Kong, spanning five stories and 30,000 square feet, is specially designed for the Kai Tak Sports Park. It will feature over 20 cutting-edge attractions that blend technology and entertainment in unique ways. The amusement park will be divided into three themed zones, each offering a distinctive blend of sports, technology, and family-friendly fun.

Themed Zones

  1. SONIC Stadium: A highlight for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog, this immersive playground features interactive attractions that allow visitors to race through loop-the-loops and battle Dr. Eggman. It’s designed for all ages, with exclusive areas for younger kids.
  2. Ninja Dojo: This area offers a modern ninja training experience, combining traditional elements with contemporary athletic challenges. Tap your wristband at the entrance and compete for time with friends!
  3. Future Arena: This zone showcases innovative sports games, including the world’s first mixed reality (MR) game and a VR racing experience that honors Hong Kong’s horse racing heritage. Another standout feature is the “Valo Climb,” an augmented reality climbing wall that transforms traditional climbing into an interactive game as well as the Squid Games-inspired Red Light Green Light.

A JPS Pass begins at HK$320, with discounted rates available for children and families. Grab your tickets here!

Each session lasts two hours, with start times at 10:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:45 PM, and 6:30 PM. Don’t forget to bring grip socks—if you don’t have any, you can purchase a pair at the venue for HK$20!
