In a groundbreaking collaboration with Kowloon Shangri-La, CHOMP has introduced the city’s first-ever Buffet-Box at Café Kool. This innovative solution is designed to ensure that no food is wasted at buffet-style restaurants. Starting at HK$88, the Buffet-Box can be purchased via the CHOMP app and is available in four varieties: Meat, Seafood, Vegetarian (hot and cold options), and Halal, catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs. Each Buffet-Box is served in a biodegradable container provided by Sustainabl., a Hong Kong-based brand specializing in low-impact packaging.

The Buffet-Box is available for purchase half an hour before Café Kool opens, ensuring freshness and convenience for collection at designated times from 12pm and 6pm, seven days a week during lunch (12:30pm-2:30pm) and dinner (6:30pm-9:30pm). This initiative not only allows Hongkongers to enjoy gourmet buffet food at home or in outdoor settings but also sets an example for other businesses in Hong Kong to adopt more sustainable practices.
